madebywave Meets AW17 Trends

September has come around fast which means that the Fashion Weeks are once again upon us. I am loving so many of the trends coming up for Autumn/Winter 2017, and I wanted to show you just how you can style your versatile madebywave pieces with this season’s hottest trends.

Jean-ius

It’s all about head to toe or unusual denim for this season with modern silhouettes replacing the skinnier styles of recent times. I adore denim in all forms and it also happens to fuse beautifully with my collections. I would suggest wearing the Lombok Yellow sarong scarf with your denims to maintain a healthy dose of sunshine as the seasons change. The blue stripes of the scarf will blend beautifully with any shade of denim, too.

Heavy Metal

The Space Age look is big this season. The good news is that silver and metallic fabrics are so easy to wear. We love this look from Chanel which will certainly turn heads. You can’t go wrong with a blue-silver combo so try the Panarea clutch on for size.

Lady in Red

Good news if you like to turn heads – power red is the colour for Autumn/Winter 2017. Personally, I like a more muted fashion palette so I would stick with red in my accessories to give a nod to this trend. The Aztec Red Clutch does the job nicely and introduces another 2017 trend that just keeps on giving – straw bags.

Feeling Crafty

I saved my favourite style until last. The folklore, heritage craft style trend is everywhere this season with English countryside traditions reigning supreme. It would be rude not to take part!

Sling your favourite British-inspired beach bag from the madebywave collections over your shoulder – we’ve got Brighton, Cotswolds and Holkham to choose from – then add a few charms to enhance the aesthetic and take your crafty look out to rub shoulders with the fashion elite.
