Relaxing in an English Garden
It’s that time of year again, with the very first pop-up of the season set to launch in the form of the latest instalment of A Luxe Story pop-up. This brings back such fond memories of where it all began one year ago with A Luxe Story in Kings Road. I can’t quite believe how much has happened in just 12 months and that all my dreams I have for the brand are becoming a reality while new dreams are being made.
A Whirlwind Adventure
Every moment of this journey has been such a whirlwind adventure moving from the fast-paced world of financial journalism to the equally fast-paced world of fashion. But even though expectations and pressure remain high, it’s wonderful to be spending every day working towards something that I am truly passionate about.
One of my favourite parts about the madebywave story has been how wonderful it is to meet people who love my brand as much as I do – and to receive glowing feedback on all the new products that I’ve added to the collections over the past year. I’ve also enjoyed meeting so many other talented designers who have a unique story to tell and some lovely products to enjoy.
Celebrating Independent Designers
If you would like to see the madebywave team in action and a handpicked selection of our bestselling and latest products, come on down to see us at this instalment of A Luxe Story. It’s taking place in the suitably luxurious location of Kings Road, home to plenty of inspiring independent designers and exquisite fashions.
If you’re not already familiar with this pop-up, it’s a beautiful installation where fashion meets art to showcase some of the most exciting new and emerging designers. There’s a great focus on handmade items and unique pieces that you just won’t find anywhere else.
I’m thrilled to be exhibiting alongside a host of other independent designers with beautiful products and inspiring stories. Collections focus on women’s lifestyle products with fashion, sportswear, accessories and homewares.
Patterns and Prints
Along with the other designers, I will be on hand to talk all about the products and, if you like, provide style advice with a luxury edge to create a memorable shopping experience. This pop-up is themed around an English Garden, so I’m dreaming of lots of bright colours, florals and patterns.
The madebywave collections are very much focused on embracing colour with the Flores pink sarong and the Holkham beach bag just some of our brightest bestselling pieces.
