The Spirit of Summer

They always say that the first year after launching a new business is the make or break period. That is why I'm so thankful my experience has been such a positive one.

Since madebywave was born and the months have unfolded, they seem to just bring one good thing after another! I've expanded my collections to include sarongs, beach bags, clutch bags and bag charms, with a wide selection of vibrant and colourful designs.

I’ve also met so many interesting people on this journey and discovered many other independent brands creating unique pieces with inspirational stories. It seems fitting that these high spirits and positive feelings are soon to be channelled into a collaboration with another wonderful business – Harry Rocks Jewellery.

I met brand founder and designer Laura Rowan and her business partner Nikki Tilley at A Luxe Story pop-up in Hampstead and we clicked immediately. I’m thrilled to soon be sharing a stand with Harry Rocks girls at the upcoming Spirit of Summer Fair.

In High Spirits

Held at Olympia London as part of the House & Garden Festival, the fair brings together a collection of more than 350 unique independent boutiques, designers and makers to celebrate summer living, inspiration and shopping.

Madebywave will be showcasing alongside a whole host of beautiful lifestyle brands selling fashion, jewellery, children’s clothing, art, toys, games and gifts. There will also be artisan food and drink stalls, and champagne bars to keep you refreshed during your shopping!

Colourful Stories

I will be showcasing a selection of pieces from the madebywave collections, all of which have been handmade in Indonesia by local craftsmen. Each piece has a story to tell and I can’t wait to share it with you. I look forward to meeting you all at the Fair, where I imagine everyone will be in the highest spirits!
