On one beautiful island, in a Indonsian Archipelago, known locally as "Tanah Air Kita" which means "our Land-Water", a traditional village, nested within ancient volcanos where artisans for countless generations have hand weaved stunning traditional fabrics. Villagers learn the craft from their parents and master the art of hand weaving their whole lives.

The preparation of the fabric takes around one month. The threads are spun, hand-dyed, and then dried before the art of hand weaving unfolds, in which one sarong takes a skilled artisan around 2 to 3 days to complete. Each piece is handwoven on a loom by Indonesian artisans, using patterns and details that merge traditional elements from Sumba island with modern aesthetics.
